Mawimbi Bush Camp - Kafue


Three large and uniquely styled canvas tents located on the river bank ensure your ultimate exclusivity. Each has its own en-suite outdoor bathroom with a hand wash basin and bucket shower that is supplied with hot water on demand and an ecologically designed “green” toilet.
All of the tents are fully mosquito proofed, with two beds in the main area of the tent with a covered entrance veranda overlooking the river for perfect game viewing and relaxing.
The tents are tastefully furnished with all basic necessities and decorated in subtle African themes.


The main activity offered is canoeing through an amazing variety of habitats and breathtaking scenery – sometimes fast and exciting and sometimes lazy and leisurely.  Wilderness game walks in the Kafue National Park are organized every morning and afternoon for those not wishing to brave the canoeing and are a must for all lovers of the African bush. Of course, there is a huge variety of bird life that awaits exploring as well as fishing for many different species of fish by lure or fly.

Munyemeshi River Lodge - Lower Zam


Munyemeshi River Lodge, a paradise in itself, is a family owned business that has been in operation for over a decade. It is the epitome of a natural jungle experience. It offers a splendid environment for guests to be blissful and in harmony with idyllic nature. MRL is less than10km away from The Lower Zambezi National Park that occupies 4092km² of prosperous land, filled with abundance.

Due to the lush flora it is the welcoming sanctuary for lions, leopards and many more wild life species. The best of fauna is to be seen in their natural habitat. The ambiance brings forth Cape buffaloes, elephants, impalas, kudus, zebras, bushbucks, baboons and monkeys that waltz by in total serenity.

Birdwatchers will have a field time observing the extraordinary species of birdlife that is found at MRL, as the area is unpolluted and lush with its original flora. MRL is sure to provide birdwatchers with breathtaking sequences of nature. Zambia's glorious Fish Eagle is always ready to swoop down to hunt its prey on the mighty Zambezi.

While on the riverbank or in the boat to fish, whether it is fly-fishing or bait fishing, the Tiger fish is the pride of the Zambezi River. Bream is the firm favourite fish for a night time barbeque around the fire. Crocodiles and other river reptiles are a must see as they lay on the river bank basking in the sun. The pods of hippo are never far way and dusk provides an opportunity to experience them up close, as they emerge to graze on land.

Munyemeshi River Lodge is located in the Chiawa Game Management Area along the Lower Zambezi River. The Zambezi is the biggest river in Zambia and one of the longest rivers on the African continent.
The lodge is about 200 kilometers from the Zambian Capital City Lusaka, approximately 62 kilometers from Chirundu and less than 10 Kilometers from the Lower Zambezi National Park.

Kariba Bush Club - Lake Kariba


Perched on the tip of the Siansowa peninsula, the Bush Club has much to offer. Gwabi River Lodge


Gwabi River Lodge, only a 2 hour journey from Lusaka is situated on the tranquil banks of the Kafue River. The lodge consists of 9 en-suite air conditioned chalets with DSTV and 2 ensuite chalets without airconditioning. Set in lush green lawns with beautiful views over the river, the rooms accommodate two adults or up to four in a family arrangement.
The lodge also has a large shaded camping ground overlooking the Kafue River. The campsite is fully equipped with socket points, lights, ablution block and braai facilities. Also available are a limited number of tents for hire
A large outdoor swimming pool and bar area can be found at the main lodge and the friendly and accommodating team serve breakfast, lunch and an `a la carte dinner either inside or out on the deck overlooking the Kafue River.
For bird watchers this is the ultimate spot to find over a hundred species of birds, with the help of the friendly staff. Gwabi River Lodge lends itself to supporting local communities, all the staff come from the local villages and surrounding area and speak proudly of their local history and socio-culture.
For people who enjoy fishing or just want to game view down the river, Gwabi has a fleet of boats for hire. The coxwains will show you the best fishing spots or can take you on a game viewing trip or a sun downer cruise. Clients may use the launch site for their own boats.
Canoes are available for hire and up to three day trips down stream can be arranged.
 The lodge offers wireless internet for people with their own laptops but also have computers available if you do not have your own equipment.
